1. Greece
We recently went to Greece, this past April; and let me tell you the pictures do not do it any justice. At all. It was an extremely affordable trip. But – I’ll warn, food can be a bit pricey. So be mindful of that.

You can find an amazing number of standard accommodations for any kind of budget. You can plan a boating trip or just lie around on the beach getting a healthy tan.

Winter is the perfect time to go on holidays in the Azores. The temperature is mild and perfect for walks to explore the astonishing natural scenery, while it is also the ideal time of year to spot some of the many species of whale often seen just off the coast.
Home to mountains, sheer cliffs, picturesque green valleys, and hot mineral springs, you will find much to explore on foot on all the islands. Each has plenty of walking trails, so you will be able to discover some of the most attractive sights with ease.
If you are particularly keen to see some interesting plant life, you may wish to visit the island of Sao Miguel in particular, which is home to some beautiful gardens. Jardim Antonio Borges in Ponta Delgada features exotic fruits and flowers sure to delight any nature lover.
7. Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico
Yucatán, has a great climate, and many wonders bring the magnitude of tourists each year whose intentions are to enjoy the beach, explore colonial towns and jungles, caves full of cenotes, and Mayan ruins (main attraction is Chichen Itza) which are spread all over the Mayan Peninsula.

If you want a holiday in a place where the modern world has reached, but not tainted, Bali is one of the last options open to you in the world!
Bali does a thriving trade in tourism, but mostly the island is an untouched wilderness, where locals still speak their own language, and if you’ve chosen a more secluded villa in Bali, all you’ll be able to hear after the sun goes down is the chirping of crickets and croaking of frogs.
11. Guatemala

Walking down cobbled streets in the chill of the early morning, the sunlight brings alive the colors in the colonial city walls.
A mist lies blanketing the lower slopes of the imposing Volcan de Agua that rises above Antigua to the south. Passing churches and grand plazas, you’ll suddenly find yourself staring at the crumbling remains of once-mighty buildings, gracefully collapsing between restaurants, hotels, and businesses. Words fail to describe the magic of the town.
12. Thailand
If there’s a place in the world where you can get the greatest clothes at the cheapest price that would be — Thailand! Similar to China, Thailand offers a lot of great cuisines and a host of other things one can enjoy. Beaches are located almost everywhere.
One of the cheapest Asian country to visit is Thailand. It provides its people with an excellent value for money. With low labor costs and a weak currency, foreigners and locals can enjoy available products and services at the least and most affordable cost. Popular tourist destinations, like Phuket and Ko Samui, though will have a slightly higher price than other locales. But with a budget of 800 baht, which is about $24 USD, one may already actually have enough for three meals, a dorm, and transportation.
13. Nepal

If you are one of those people who think vacations are a rare and far-fetched commodity, I can relate, but they don’t have to be.
If you are looking for culture, peace, and beauty then Nepal is the place for you. Being one of the most beautiful countries of South Asia, Nepal offers you exactly what you need.
The most distinctive feature about this trip will probably be the hidden beauty incorporated in every street and corner of the place. It will almost be like a treasure hunt. For the inspiration that lies in Nepal can be found nowhere else because the people found in Nepal can be found nowhere else. Nepal is offering to give you what no other holiday spot probably ever did: inspiration.

With all the news about people getting kicked off of airplanes, I sure hope that prices are affordable! There seems to be no guarantee of reaching our vacation paradise anymore, which is a shame. If I could pick one of those places, it would be Greece. I want to see all the old buildings.
