Welcome to Budget with Belle monthly Income and Traffic report. If you’re new to Budget with Belle, you may be wondering why I would want to publish my income report online.
I know, it’s a bit taboo to disclose what you made/lost. I wrestled with this idea of publishing my income and expenses online for awhile now. But, after much thought, why the heck not?! So, going forward (until I decide to stop), I’ve decided to create a monthly blog traffic, income, and goals report.
I have a few reasons why I decided to start doing this, but here are my big 3:
As a new blogger, I’ve been inspired by reading other bloggers monthly reports. Specifically, what they’ve learned, what they’d do differently, and other strategies that helped them grow their following.
.
Pinterest is chalked full of blog income reports! I could probably spend hours reading them all. Hopefully, my blog reports will help other newbie bloggers as well.
.
I’m eager to share what I’ve learned over the past 30 days. SEO, Pinterest, Social Media, etc…There is SO much to learn in the blogging world! Though it’s sometimes overwhelming, I’m looking forward to becoming a blogging subject matter expert.
Bonus
By publishing my goals in such a public forum, I’ll be able to hold myself accountable more than I would if I just wrote down a few goals in my notebook. Plus, I’d like to connect with other bloggers who might be aiming toward the same goals.
If you are interested in starting a blog of your own, I created a tutorial that will help you start a blog of your own for cheap, starting at only $3.95 per month (this low price is only through my link) for blog hosting. In addition to the low pricing, you will receive a free website domain (a $15 value) through my Bluehost link if you purchase, at least, 12 months of blog hosting.

What I Accomplished in August
Updated my 7-day blog success email course. My FREE email course is even more comprehensive and jammed packed than ever before. It’s filled with information on how to start and launch a successful blog! And of course, I’ve spilled my secrets on how I’m earning passive income with such low page views, click here to sign up!
Implemented Pinterest Strategies – So, Carly’s e-book I heard is BOMB.com & and so far so good. I have seen a 17.70% increase in page views since really applying the methods. That’s huge for me!
Purchased my first planner printable. As you guys know, my anxiety can get the best of me and causes me to stall and procrastinate. But, I’ve noticed I’m a lot more motivated and productive when using this planner. Maybe it’s the font or bright colors, but, it’s helped me this past month. So, I’m grateful for that. Get yours here!
Marketing Strategy – Commenting on my favorite blogs. In the past, I have been shy about commenting on others sites for whatever reason. But, I want to build relationships and network with others in my niche. The Frugal Asian has shown me it’s possible to do and a lot of good can come out of it. So, I hope to build on that more.
SEO – Search Engine Optimization, a semi complicated word meaning “to be found on Google and other search engines.” In the super crowded online world, you want to be found. Traffic is very important, think about it? You don’t want to be talking to yourself forever, do you? Thought so. I ran across this keyword searcher that helps me find easy SEO long-tail keywords. KWfinder is a powerful tool if used properly. I highly recommend it.

My plans for my blog.
“All who have accomplished great things have had a great aim, have fixed their gaze on a goal which was high, one which sometimes seemed impossible.” —Orison Swett Marden
It’s important to have a plan and goals. They help you stay motivated and focused. I’m sharing my blog goals publicly in hopes it’ll help keep me accountable and hopefully help others along the way. Below are goals I have for Budget with Belle:
- Earn $5,000/month. I would like to be able to stay home with our Daughter without causing financial stress to our family.
- Grow Budget with Belle to 100,000 monthly page views. This would be fantastic to hit! I would love to see how the blog grows, and the readers that can benefit from my experiences.
- Create a product to sell. Creating an evergreen product will help make my first goal of staying home with our Daughter possible by diversifying my income.
- Grow my email to 1,000 loyal readers. I’ve heard a lot of good can come out of one’s email list. I hope to be able to build and foster connections this year.
- Get consistent with posting on Budget with Belle posts. I think the way I’ll be able to accomplish this goal is by getting ahead with writing blog post.
- Promote the blog better. Currently, as you know my numbers are low. But, I’ll like that to change. I’m going to only focus on these 3 social media platforms at this time
- Continue learning and improving. On all aspect of my life. Especially this blog. I hope to someday grow it into a successful business.
